With the right applications, pictures can be manipulated in numerous ways. One of those applications is Graphic Workshop. It places a wide range of tools at your disposal, which serve various purposes. You can perform many operations, from visual adjustments to file optimization. Additionally, the software allows you to manage your images, on one or more browsing windows.

Graphic Workshop is free to try for a limited period of time, but without any functionality restrictions. Its setup file is roughly 34 MB and the installation process is straightforward. The software can be used on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it does not require top of the line hardware.

The main user interface resembles a standard explorer window, but it has more options and it displays only images. You can open multiple browsing windows within the interface, which makes it easier to move images from one place to another. Instead of clicking and dragging, you can select multiple images just by clicking their thumbnails. You can also click different options, located on a toolbar, to select or unselect everything.

The aforementioned toolbar displays a series of options, for converting images, cropping them, making color adjustments, resizing, creating albums and more. All operations are quite easy to perform. The necessary preparations can be made on separate windows, by clicking radio buttons, check boxes or selecting options in drop menus. For example, if you wish to convert one or more images, you only need to select a destination folder and a format, on a clean and simple window.

Additional options, for batch renaming or applying various filters, can be found in the top menus. After performing certain operations, like resizing pictures or applying color effects, the software will display the same conversion window, so you can store the modified images in a different format or in their original format. When it comes to creating a photo catalog, Graphic Workshop can store it as a single image, print it or create a web catalog, in HTML format. It places various customization options at your disposal, so you can make your catalog look however you want.
